I know it in my bones because I've become the kind of woman I never dreamed I could be.

As a young woman, in spite of being smart, talented and loving, I was full of self doubt and fear.

I drifted between dysfunctional relationships or alone and hurting wondering how anything else might be possible...

I couldn’t see or feel my natural beauty and I sure didn’t think anyone else could.

When my internal discomfort got too much to bear, I finally reached out for help.

I was carried along a pathway of discovery via ancient and emerging therapies, extraordinary teachers, like minded communities and the writings of luminary minds.

I began unravelling the stories of the women in my lineage and came to understand their losses, their gifts and the way the culture of their times (and in some cases the abuse they’d endured) had formed them.

I realised I carried their wounds and their strengths.

I saw myself in their stories and it gave me courage.
